- My dear friend Tamara had her first piece at Deeper Story this week. Provocative and thoughtful as she always is, I absolutely loved "We are the Queer, We are the Whore."
- I really enjoyed Jamie Wright's post where she lets us know that the bad labels she gives herself (like Very Worst Missionary) are just not true. Also, she announced that she's going to be working on a book. Squee!
- Even though it's a repost, I cried when I read my friend Sarah's post about being beautiful.
- Discovered a fantastic new blog this week with Dirty Sexy Ministry. Loved their day after Easter post.
First, I'm excited to announce that I'm a contributing author for The Well Written Woman! I am honored to be a part of this project. There are really amazing writers collected there including my friends Sarah, Joy and Cam and I hope that you'll swing by and say hello. I'll be sure to let you know when any of my pieces go up over there. {ETA: You can read my first piece here: Why I'm No Longer Pro-Life (Part 1)}
And I also want to let you know that The Practice of Love is now available for purchase (affiliate link). I'm really excited since my contribution to it is the first thing that I've written that has been published without me pushing the publish button. I received my copy on Friday and have read much of it. Tons of heart-felt, beautiful stories in there. There will be a synchroblog about the project on May 15, with many of the authors sharing bits of their stories, so keep a watch for that.
What have you read/written/watched/listened to this week that moved you? Leave a linky in the comments to your favorites!
